MY CHILDHOOD
Skiing was there from the very start

Grown up in Holzgau, in the beautiful Lechtal valley and shaped by a family of sports enthusiasts, the passion for movement and the fascination for nature have accompanied me since my early childhood days.
Already at the age of two, “Papa Charly” put me on skis for the first time. From that time on I never gave up my Atomic boards – except for the possibility to score goals with friends while playing soccer. Many hours on the ski slopes of Tyrol and Vorarlberg, countless ski races and soccer matches in my parents’ garden (one or the other window of our house unfortunately had to go) later, at the age of 14 I was faced with an important decision: career with helmet or shin guards?

Grown up in Holzgau, in the beautiful Lechtal valley and shaped by a family of sports enthusiasts, the passion for movement and the fascination for nature have accompanied me since my early childhood days.
Already at the age of two, “Papa Charly” put me on skis for the first time. MY YOUTH
After passing the entrance examination at the tyrolean football academy I played for five years in the Austrian youth bundesliga. At the same time I completed my training as a retail salesman at the Sport-HAS in Innsbruck. In spite of the very intensive time playing football, I remained true to my passion – ski racing – during my youth. Among other things, I was able to celebrate following successes then and partly also today.

But they never let go of me, the boards that mean the world to me …
In the year 2007 I therefore completed the first ski instructor training and then worked for six years for the Warth Ski School, where I was able to gain my first experience.
After completing the training as a state ski instructor and ski guide, my partner at the time and I founded the Ski School Arlberg Snowsports in Warth.
After five instructive years, I decided to found my own ski school in 2019.
My youth

In summer
Since it is relatively difficult to ski on grass, I have been working in the summer season since 2012 as a hut host, plate taxi and entertainer on the terrace – together with my mum – in Cafe Uta in Holzgau.
During my leisure time in the local mountains, I consciously move to places where only a few people are on the trail. I look for destinations where I can experience the rugged cirques, the crystal-clear mountain lakes and the impressive animal world in peace and quiet.
In summer

Together we will have a great time and enjoy the very special moments on the mountain.
No matter if you are learning your first turns, freeriding in untouched deep snow slopes or climbing lonely peaks with our touring skis. My passion is to actively experience our wonderful nature at the Arlberg and in the Lechtal together with my guests.
